Branchville Brook is a brilliant local stream. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. An exciting thing to take a look at close to Hazen Pond is Factory Pond Dam; why not camp at Mountain Workshop since you're here at Hazen
Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend East Aspetuck River, and you without doubt must visit Putnam Memorial Park since you're here.
