This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Mohawk Mountain; close by you hit upon Allens Cove.       Yeah, come here to Haviland Millpond for a wonderful time. Go for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and dry warm beds await you at The Cottages At Kent Road. It's a perfect idea to visit Glen Brook, it's next to Haviland Millpond, and you can run the rapids of Tenmile. This place, Haviland Millpond, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Buck's Rock Camp is a good local campground, and Thunder Ridge is a glorious local ski area.                  This lake is so wonderful. Nothing beats kicking back at Pine Ledge. At Haviland Millpond during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Haviland Millpond are in the 10's. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Haviland Millpond; June is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. There's always Haviland Millpond Dam to check out right next door to Haviland Millpond, and not far from Haviland Millpond you'll hit upon Great Mountain Pond which is a picturesque lake. Kelly Slide is a glorious place to pop by while in the region; Squantz Pond State Park is a fine location. You get a glorious sight of Briggs Hill from Haviland Millpond; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Green Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
