For the duration of the warm days of summer at Hartford Reservoir Number 3 highs are typically in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Hartford Reservoir Number 3 temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.       Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. On a brilliant day at Hartford Reservoir Number 3 you can take a hike along the Tunxis Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Farmington River - Collinsville. While you're here at Hartford Reservoir Number 3 you can play some golf at Buena Vista Golf Course, and South Reservoir Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Hartford Reservoir Number 3 you can take a hike along the Mattabesset                  Trail; after a long day outdoors Homewood Suites by Hilton HartfordFarmington is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. You'll meet a lot of people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here; on a splendid day you can stop by Hart Meadow, a swamp right next door to Hartford Reservoir Number 3. There's so much to do here at Hartford Reservoir Number 3 that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Eagle Feather is a fine location for that, and Mount Southington is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. A magnificent forest in the vicinity of Hartford Reservoir Number 3 is Newton Brainard Forest; if you came to camp Golden Acres Campground is a tremendous site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Hartford Reservoir Number 5 is close at hand, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Powder Ridge. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Hartford Reservoir Number 3. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Metacomet Trail, and obviously, everybody loves Talcott Mountain State Park. The high level of precipitation makes Hartford Reservoir Number 3 a reasonably wet spot; most of the rain falls all through May, and the driest month is February.
