     A great place for whitewater paddling near Harakleys Pond is Quinebaug River, and here at Harakleys Pond you can see Bucket Hill. Harakleys Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Charlie Brown Campground is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Willington. This lake is so wonderful. You're in all probability into lakes, Ashford Lake is one of those close by; why not pop by nearby Branch Brook since you're here at Harakleys  
   Pond. Summertime at Harakleys Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Harakleys Pond tend to be in the 10's.
A tour to Bigelow Hollow State Park when you're here at Harakleys Pond is a great idea; if you've had enough of Harakleys Pond, Sabo Pond is close by. And that's not all you
 
               can do here at Harakleys Pond. Very great water scenery is available at Ashford Lake Dam near Harakleys Pond, and Travelodge Sturbridge is a magnificent spot to get some rest.
A wonderful location to camp here at Harakleys Pond is Peppertree Camping, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Natchaug River. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for people from Willimantic, and if you're looking for a splendid tour, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is relatively near. A great deal of rainfall falls at Harakleys Pond; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
