The top of Birch Hill is easily distinguished from Hancock Brook Lake, and Black Rock State Park is a tremendous campground nearby. Soar down the rapids of Farmington River - Riverton in a kayak; on a great day you can go to Buck Meadow, a swamp close to Hancock Brook Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Hancock Brook Lake you'll in all probability meet some people from New Haven-Milford, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Waterbury Downtown. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville is so much fun, and Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol is a golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
