Hammond Pond is always a pleasure to visit. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The vista of gorgeous Mallory Hill near Hammond Pond is wonderful. Not far from Hammond Pond, you'll find Miller Pond which is a pretty lake, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Green Harbor Beach. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious place to camp here at Hammond Pond is Camp Niantic By The Atlantic, and nothing beats kicking back at Ocean Beach.

Go for a hike on the Narragansett Trail, and at Hammond Pond you always meet someone from Norwich-New London. If you need a place to stay Lighthouse Inn Resort is a glorious choice, and Alewife Cove is very near and is a delightful place to pop by.

Pond. Harkness Memorial State Park is a nice spot to pop by, and a nice site to have a look at is Goshen Ledge.
At Hammond Pond through the summer months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The cold
days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Hammond Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Fenger Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Crystal Lake.
