Hamlin Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Hamlin Pond. Going to Talcott Mountain State Park in close proximity to Hamlin Pond is a splendid thing to do, and skiing at Powder Ridge is one of those things you just must do. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Farmington River - Riverton near Hamlin Pond; at Hamlin Pond you can spot Bradley Mountain. Be careful

The Mattatuck Trail is a great hiking trail near Hamlin Pond; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Southington, Connecticut. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Tunxis Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Plainville Reservoir Dam. Brook, and if you've had enough of Hamlin Pond, Paderewski Pond is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Hamlin Pond you'll possibly meet some folks from New Haven-Milford. There's so much to do here at Hamlin Pond that
you need to camp here for a while, Gentile's Camp Ground is a nice spot for that. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Hamlin Pond get into the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The wintertime brings
highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Hamlin Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. There's whitewater on Farmington River - Collinsville for all you thrill seekers, needless to say you could also go to Hamlin
Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. If you're here, you might as well pop by Cooks Gap. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Hamlin Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Eagle Feather. A round of golf
at nearby Hawk's Landing Country Club is a good way to kill some time, and beautiful scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Mount Southington. A good deal of rain falls at Hamlin Pond; the month of August is the wettest with
most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. If the weather is delightful here at Hamlin Pond, you can go for a hike along the Metacomet Trail, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Plainville is a good place to spend a night or two.
