Not far from Halls Pond you can enjoy the trees of James L Goodwin State Forest, and from Halls Pond you obtain a wonderful view of Pumpkin Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Beaverdam Brook is a splendid location to pop by, and a pleasant location to camp here at Halls Pond is Charlie Brown Campground. If you need a location to stay Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a delightful choice; why not camp at Nickerson Park Camp Grounds while you're here at

| | Halls Pond. Through the days of summer at Halls Pond highs are regularly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Halls Pond tend to be in the 10's. All our national parks are perfect sites to explore, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception. lake is so wonderful. This is a perfect neighborhood for people who like lakes. Halls Pond is a lake close at hand, and why not explore Halls Pond South Dike if you're here. There's whitewater on Quinebaug River for all you adrenaline
junkies; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Regent Inn. If you like the outdoors, you'll love Halls Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Natchaug River; there are plenty of folks from Willimantic here.
