After a long day outdoors Best Western Regent Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two, and Nickerson Park Camp Grounds is a fine campground nearby. Halls Pond South Dike is not far at all from Halls Pond, and stopping by Mansfield Hollow State Park is a brilliant thing to do. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a perfect time here at Halls Pond. If you need a place to stay Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a good choice, and while you're

here you will meet lots of people from close by Willimantic. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Quinebaug River offers some great whitewater, and Charlie Brown Campground is a fine local campground.
Pumpkin Hill is a peak you can catch a sight of from Halls Pond; do take some time to check out James L Goodwin State Forest since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth taking a look at. Halls Pond gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is commonly November, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
