During the months of summer at Halls Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows at Halls Pond through the winter ordinarily plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Natchaug River is so much fun; this is a popular place for folks from Willimantic. A delightful lake like Reeds Pond in       close proximity to Halls Pond is a good spot to go to, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center. If the weather is beautiful, you acquire a good view of Pumpkin Hill from Halls Pond, and don't leave without going to Mansfield Hollow State Park. If you need a location to stay Best Western Regent Inn is a good choice, and lakes are such serene places, why not go to Halls Pond. All the water falling down from the sky makes Halls                  Pond a wet place; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A forest next to Halls Pond is James L Goodwin State Forest, and a magnificent location to camp here at Halls Pond is Nickerson Park Camp Grounds. Just can't get enough of Halls Pond. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a perfect local destination here at Halls Pond, and Halls Pond South Dike is a wonderful location. Camping at Charlie Brown Campground is always a glorious experience, and some nearby water includes Beaverdam Brook.
