A visit to Halls Pond is always a good idea. During the months of summer at Halls Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows at Halls Pond through the winter ordinarily plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. State Forest, and a magnificent location to camp here at Halls Pond is Nickerson Park Camp Grounds. Just can't get enough of Halls Pond. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a perfect local destination
here at Halls Pond, and Halls Pond South Dike is a wonderful location. Camping at Charlie Brown Campground is always a glorious experience, and some nearby water includes Beaverdam Brook. Get wet paddling on Quinebaug River.
