Sure, Halls Pond is in the neighborhood, and don't miss out on a spree to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Regent Inn is a glorious location to get some rest; Beaverdam Brook is one       of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. Dry warm beds await you at Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center, and on a wonderful day you get a great view of Pumpkin Hill from Halls Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Halls Pond a quite wet place; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Halls Pond North Dam has wonderful water scenery and it's near Halls Pond; Halls Pond is magnificent                  enough to spend more than a day at, Peppertree Camping is a magnificent local campground. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to Halls Pond. You'll meet a lot of folks from Willimantic here, and whitewater paddling is good on Quinebaug River. There are other places here than Halls Pond, for example Reeds Pond; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Natchaug River. For the period of the months of summer at Halls Pond highs are regularly in the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's.
