Camping at Peppertree Camping is always a pleasant experience, and a tour to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile. If you come at the right time of year, Quinebaug River offers some splendid whitewater, and Halls Pond North Dam is gorgeous. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. some of the water nearby flows, like Beaverdam Brook. Summertime at Halls Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are
generally in the 30's with temperatures at Halls Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. A good nearby hotel is Best Western Regent Inn, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Reeds Pond is just a very short
distance away. If you came to camp Charlie Brown Campground is a great site to do that; the sight of beautiful Pumpkin Hill is tremendous.
