     Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Willington, and Cedar Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp in the neighborhood of Halls Pond. For the duration of the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Halls Pond; the night is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Halls Pond. Halls Pond is a quite wet place ordinarily with a great deal of precipitation;  
   May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. If you need a site to stay Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a glorious choice, and Mansfield Hollow State Park is a great place to explore.
A pleasant vista of scenic Brackett Hill is available from Halls Pond; get wet paddling on Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Wilderness Lake, and whitewater paddling is great on Natchaug River. That right
 
               there is heaps already, but it carries on; Halls Pond has it all. The scenery at Halls Pond Dam next to Halls Pond is pretty, and a lake close by is Sharps Millpond.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Halls Pond you locate a golf course called Skungamaug River Golf Club, naturally you could also take a look at Parizek Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. There's so much to do here at Halls Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Moosemeadow Camping Resort is a good site for that, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Clark Brook.
