A range like the Hanging Hills here at Hallmere Reservoir is always beautiful, and a day at delightful Dossin Park Beach in the neighborhood of Hallmere Reservoir is a perfect thing to do. You'll meet a lot of people from New Haven-Milford here; why not take a refreshing hike along the Washington Trail. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Merimere Reservoir is a great lake in close proximity to Hallmere Reservoir, and if you came for an overnight stay Little City Campground is a great place to camp. Hallmere Reservoir really is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise.
A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Hallmere Reservoir is Farmington River - Collinsville, and some nearby water includes Cathole Brook. A good deal of rain falls at Hallmere Reservoir; May is when you get
the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. Hawk's Landing Country Club is a golf course near Hallmere Reservoir; if you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a good choice. The slopes of Mount Southington
are so inviting nobody can resist, and the Tunxis Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Hallmere Reservoir throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the
wintertime are normally in the 30's while Hallmere Reservoir nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Hallmere Reservoir Dam is a place that is close to Hallmere Reservoir, and Roaring Brook River is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby.
