Gulf Beach is in the neighborhood of Gulf Pond and is a striking beach to stop at, also Long Jetty is worth visiting while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Gulf Pond has to offer, you can camp at National Computer Camps, and popping by Osbornedale State Park is a good thing to do. Gulf Pond mostly gets a good deal of precipitation;       May is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Regicides Trail; a day at scenic Gulf Beach close to Gulf Pond is a great thing to do. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Naugatuck Trail; you are near The Bar while you're here. Gulf Pond is not the only spot close by, Upper Lagoon is a close by lake. The fine people of New Haven-Milford like to hang out nearby. There's                  so much to do here at Gulf Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Wildwood State Park is a great location for that. All the outdoors exciting stuff close to Gulf Pond will keep you coming back persistently. Orchards Golf Course is a good golf course nearby, unsurprisingly you could also have a look at Lower Lagoon since you're here; it's not far at all. A swamp like Calf Pen Meadow near Gulf Pond has lots of exciting things to see, and the summit of Bryan Hill can be observed from Gulf Pond. Having a great time at Gulf Pond is painless. Calf Pen Meadow Creek is a delightful local stream, and Howard Johnson Hotel is a pleasant site to get some rest. Hiking along the Quinnipiac Trail is perfect fun, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Milford/New Haven is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Summertime at Gulf Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's.
