Camping at Golden Acres Campground is always a tremendous experience; Schwartz Pond Dam is       a picturesque place, unquestionably worth stopping at. Guild Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Cannon Pond since you're here at Guild Pond; it's close by, and get covered with water paddling on Farmington River. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Guild Pond you can take a hike along the Metacomet Trail,                  and swing by Adds Brook it's a delightful place to take a look at. Be careful coming to Guild Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. From Guild Pond you acquire a wonderful sight of Birges Hill, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Schwartz Pond is just a very short distance away. Near Guild Pond you find the County Road Trail which is a good hiking trail, and a trip to Enfield Falls will fill your soul with brilliant feelings. For the duration of the summer highs here at Guild Pond get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's.
