Groton Reservoir is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Seaport Campground is a perfect place to camp nearby; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Beaverdam Brook. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day it's a good idea to spend the day at Bluff Point Beach, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a great place       to spend a night or two. The high level of precipitation makes Groton Reservoir a reasonably wet place; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This site is unbeatable, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the neighborhood of Groton Reservoir. During your journey to Groton Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Norwich-New London for sure,                  and Dark Hollow is also a good location to look at. Crooked S Hill is scenic and can be distinguished from Groton Reservoir, and if you want to hit the beach, Groton Beach is close at hand. Any time is a perfect time at Groton Reservoir if you fancy the outdoors. Birch Plain Golf Course & Driving Range is a golf course in close proximity to Groton Reservoir, and Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa is a good place to get some rest. A swamp like Birch Plain Creek Tidal Marsh in the vicinity of Groton Reservoir has lots of exciting things to see. Poquonock Reservoir Dam is a wonderful spot close to Groton Reservoir; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Narragansett Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Groton Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Laurel-lock Campgrounds; Smith Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Bluff Point Coastal Reserve State Park are tremendous to take a look at, and if you want to check out some attention-grabbing stuff, check out Pohegnut Ledge. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Groton Reservoir. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
