Don't leave Griswold Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Mattabesset Trail; there's some flowing water nearby, Collier Brook is a stream you can visit during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Bell Reservoir since you're here at Griswold Reservoir; it's close       by, and you don't should go far to enjoy Wintergreen Woods. Summer at Griswold Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Griswold Reservoir temperatures sink to the 10's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Griswold Reservoir; Washington Trail is a glorious local trail, and whitewater                  paddling is good on Roaring Brook River.
