You are in the vicinity of Conn Cove if you're here at Griffin Pond, and hiking along the Richard Trail is wonderful fun. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Congamond Lakes South Pond; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blandford while you're here. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Griffin Pond is right by the Link Trail, and you're sure to come across some fine people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford

the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Griffin Pond. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down
during the winter temperatures at Griffin Pond descend into the 0's. Farmington River is a brilliant whitewater spot near Griffin Pond; the County Road Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round
of golf at Edgewood Golf Course not far from Griffin Pond, and Beaverdam Marsh is an exciting swamp in close proximity to Griffin Pond. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little
River; a magnificent nearby hotel is Dutch Iris Inn, The. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Ski Sundown. This lake is so wonderful. At Griffin Pond you can make out Duncaster Hill; not far from Griffin Pond you acquire
some great water scenery at Congamond Lakes South Dike. If you get bored of Griffin Pond, you could also explore nearby Newgate Pond; a pleasant place like Penwood State Park is too splendid to leave out. You definitely ought
to have a thing about Griffin Pond. A day at pretty Babbs Beach next to Griffin Pond is a great thing to do, and Golden Acres Campground is a great campground nearby.
