During your visit to Great Brook Reservoir you'll meet some folks from New Haven-Milford for sure, and Great Brook Reservoir is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Gentile's Camp Ground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of       close by Mount Southington; there's brilliant hiking along the Naugatuck Trail. Great Brook Reservoir frequently gets lots of precipitation; all through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. The snow is wonderful at Woodbury; you can stay the night at Black Rock State Park. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express WATERBURY                  is a delightful choice, and the Tunxis Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Great Brook Reservoir, you could stop by Chase Brook; at Great Brook Reservoir you can make out Bucks Hill. Courtyard Waterbury Downtown is a great place to get some rest, and Belleview Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. If you're here at Great Brook Reservoir and you like golf, you can stop at Highland Golf Course, and a great swamp in the neighborhood of Great Brook Reservoir is Buck Meadow. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Great Brook Reservoir. Don't leave Great Brook Reservoir without going to Black Rock State Park; there's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at Great Brook Reservoir Dam next to Great Brook Reservoir. During the summer here at Great Brook Reservoir, high temperatures generally get into the 70's, and the night is quite colder of course, frequently in the 50's.
