This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Grannis Pond, you could take a look at Cussgutter Brook, and going for a hike
on the Quinnipiac Trail is always a wonderful adventure. There's whitewater on Farmington River - Collinsville for all you adrenaline junkies, and a spree to Sleeping Giant State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. A good close
by hotel is Clarion Hotel Bristol, and Compounce Mountain is a peak you can see from Grannis Pond.
The skiing at Mount Southington is great, and if you need a site to stay Radisson Inn Bristol is a glorious choice. Lakes are nice;
Compounce Lake is a lake that's near Grannis Pond, and the Tunxis Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. All through the warm months highs here at Grannis Pond reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Grannis Pond.
