Podunk Great Plain is a wonderful place any time of year, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Hammonasset River. Chatfield Hollow State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit; dry warm beds await you at Tower Inn and Suites. Having a wonderful time at Goulds Pond is easy. There's glorious hiking along the West Woods Trail, and Cedar Island Meadow is a swamp near Goulds Pond. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Goulds Pond highs are

Rive Beach. Here at Goulds Pond you can see Clapboard Hill, and Goulds Pond is right by the Washington Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nothing beats kicking back at Circle Beach. This lake is so wonderful. Goulds Pond is great
enough to spend more than a day at, Hammonasset Beach State Park is a great local campground, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Bailey Creek. Taking a little tour to nearby Smith Bay is a splendid idea, and get
covered with water paddling on Roaring Brook River. Goulds Pond frequently gets a large amount of precipitation; April is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by
is Old Scroggie Pond, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Guilford Lakes Golf Course.
