At Gorhams Pond during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Gorhams Pond temperatures descend to the 20's. A quick tour to Goodwives River in the vicinity of Gorhams Pond is a good idea, and there are swamps here too, The Gut is in the vicinity.       If you want to stop by some exciting stuff, stop by Nat Clocks Rock, and drift down the rapids of Norwalk River in a kayak. If you want to hit the beach, Pear Tree Point Beach is close at hand. Lakes? Sure, Streets Pond is nearby. Places like Caumsett State Park are good to check out, and dry warm beds await you at Amsterdam Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. You are in close proximity to Colyer Point while you're here at Gorhams Pond, and Harbor Ledge is nearby,                  and is a great spot. Gorhams Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls through August while February is frequently the driest month. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Gorhams Pond rocks!
