Goose Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is a splendid campground here, and unsurprisingly East Branch Shepaug River flows through this vicinity. Going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a glorious adventure, and Litchfield Town Beach is a beach nearby that you can take a look at. This lake is so wonderful.

is when it's the driest. If you came for an overnight stay Cozy Hills Campground is a great spot to camp, and Goose Pond Dam is a site that is in the vicinity of Goose Pond.
Mt. Tom State Park is a nice location to visit on a
wonderful day, and perfect skiing awaits you at Mohawk Mountain. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Woodbury, and Shepaug River is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. High temperatures at Goose Pond throughout
the summertime are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Goose Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
