lot of people from Torrington here, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Mattatuck Trail. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Goodwin Pond. There are other locations here than Goodwin Pond, for example
Besse Park Pond; when you're here it's always fun to pop by Burr Pond State Park.
Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites, and nearby you come across the Tunxis Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
Why not camp at Burr Pond State Park while you're here at Goodwin Pond; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Fairview Farm Golf Course is in the vicinity. All through the warmest time of the year at Goodwin Pond temperatures
are usually in the 70's; the nighttime is rather colder of course, usually in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Goodwin Pond are in the 10's.
