One of the principal features of the surroundings of Glen Lake is Carrington Hill, and a magnificent place to camp here at Glen Lake is Branchbrook Campground. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Glen Lake. During the summer highs here at Glen Lake get into the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 30's; through       the dark hours in the wintertime at Glen Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. Econo Lodge Conference Center is a great spot to get some rest, and Glen Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Gentile's Camp Ground is a great local campground. If you're here at Glen Lake and you like golf, you can stop by Laurel View Country Club Golf, and Woodbury is a very popular ski area close by. Glen Lake is a wet spot that gets a good deal of precipitation;                  most of the rain falls through May; the driest month is February. This place, Glen Lake, it simply has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Glen Lake is not far at all from New Haven-Milford, and dry warm beds await you at Best Value Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Naugatuck Trail; Glen Lake Dam is an interesting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. You could also have a look at Konolds Pond if you're here at Glen Lake; it's nearby; don't leave without visiting West Rock Ridge State Park. Mount Southington has perfect slopes and a friendly staff; the Quinnipiac Trail offers hiking at its best.
