Gaylord Pond is a nice lake to visit. Very picturesque scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Otis Ridge, and if you're here, you could also have a look at stunning Colebrook River Lake. Stay the night at Austin Hawes Campground, and nearby you come across the County Road Trail which is a great hiking trail. So much cool stuff in the vicinity of Gaylord Pond, just mind-boggling. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites, and there is a great hiking

| | trail nearby called the Mattatuck Trail. Summertime highs at Gaylord Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Gaylord Pond. White Pines Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and Algonquin State Forest is a great forest neighborhood close by. whitewater, and you'll locate a scenic lake called Rowley Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous swamp close to Gaylord Pond is Indian Meadow, and what would winter be without some skiing at Ski Sundown. If you need a location
to stay Days Inn - Torrington is a delightful choice, and don't forget to take a perfect little journey to Sandy Brook. Gaylord Pond gets lots of water; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains
the most, and the driest month is January. Not far from Gaylord Pond you acquire some perfect water scenery at Gaylord Pond Dam; going for a hike on the Richard Trail is always a nice adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Having
a great time at Gaylord Pond is uncomplicated. There are plenty of folks from Torrington here at Gaylord Pond, and on a lovely day you obtain a perfect vista of Spencer Hill from Gaylord Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Still River, and Burr Pond State Park is both pleasant and lovely.
