If you like lakes and you're in this part of Connecticut you can check out Gaines Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Wilderness Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn Willington, and Bissonnette Pond Dam is an exciting thing to check out. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Gaines Pond. Lakes? Sure, Drobney Pond is nearby, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Quaboag River. Much rain falls

Mansfield Hollow State Park is worth checking out if you're at Gaines Pond; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Natchaug River. rest, and Moosemeadow Camping Resort is a fine campground nearby. High temperatures at Gaines Pond during the summer months are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime
the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Gaines Pond. Curtis Brook is close to Gaines Pond and is always a delight to have a look at, and Taylor Pond is a brilliant lake nearby.
