Places like Mansfield Hollow State Park are good to go to, and if you came for an overnight stay Salt Rock Family Camping is a perfect site to camp. All the water falling down from the sky makes Frog Pond a wet place; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Frog Pond, you could also take a look at pretty Lake Marie, and Mullin Hill is beautiful

Hiking is a popular thing to do around Frog Pond; Narragansett Trail is a great local trail; Best Western Regent Inn is a brilliant site to get some rest. What a place this is for outdoors folks. You don’t have to go far from Frog Pond to catch a sight of the water at Frog Pond Dam, and camping is available at Highland Camp Ground. Brook Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out, and there are plenty of folks from Norwich-New London here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Frog Pond. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. The
cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Frog Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's.
