     Connecticut has many beautiful lakes and Fox Hill Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Wataba Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and Fox Hill Lake is not far at all from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown. Some of the water close by flows, like Ridgefield Brook. Lakes are great; Wataba Lake is a lake that's close to Fox Hill Lake. The summit of Barrow Mountain can be seen from Fox Hill Lake, and Fox Hill Lake is a perfect site to visit for  
   more than one day, Mountain Workshop is a perfect site to camp nearby.
Summertime at Fox Hill Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Fox Hill Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do close to Fox Hill Lake. You're in all probability into lakes, Taylors Pond is one of those nearby,
 
               and everyone nearby loves skiing at Thunder Ridge. Dry warm beds await you at Ethan Allen Hotel. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Fox Hill Lake has to offer, you can camp at Kettletown State Park.
Don't leave Fox Hill Lake without popping by Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve. Fox Hill Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; during the month of May you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Norwalk River, and if you need a place to stay Residence Inn By Marriott Danbury is a perfect choice.
If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Ridgefield Golf Course is close at hand, and a brilliant site for whitewater paddling is East Aspetuck River.

Well we would collect our Christmas trees around fifty or so and dig them into the ice about forty ft apart and make two rows .
