Chatfield Hollow State Park is a magnificent location to stretch your legs a bit, and Salmon River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Cedar Swamp is right nearby, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Deer Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at River Road Campground is always a perfect experience, and a quick visit to Chatfield Hollow Brook is positively a glorious idea. Yeah,

High temperatures at Foster Pond during the summer months are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Pond, it truly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Powder Ridge is a delightful local ski area; Foster Pond is not the only place nearby, Schreeder Pond is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Foster Pond you discover the
Washington Trail which is a glorious hiking trail; you can hit the beach if you want, Hammonasset Beach is practically right here. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at East Rive Beach, and Foster Pond is great enough to spend more
than a day at, Riverdale Camp Sites is a great local campground. Fosters Pond Dam is a location that is close to Foster Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Madison Beach Hotel is a perfect choice. From Foster Pond you get a good
view of Buell Hill. Foster Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Foster Pond called the Mattabesset Trail, and a nice nearby hotel is A Victorian Village Inn.
