Clubhouse Pond is a great lake in close proximity to Foote Hill Pond, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford for sure. Dry warm beds await you at Manchester Inn. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course right next door to Foote Hill Pond is Tallwood Country Club, and if you came to camp Nelson's Family Campground is a glorious location to do that. | | Vernon is a good choice; a swamp like Daly Swamp close to Foote Hill Pond has lots of interesting things to see. Foote Hill Pond is a relatively wet place frequently with lots of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Through the days of summer at Foote Hill Pond highs are commonly in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Foote Hill Pond dipping | |

down into the 10's during winter nights. A tour to Gay City State Park when you're here at Foote Hill Pond is never a bad idea, and camping at Markham Meadows Campgrounds is always a wonderful experience. Don't forget to take
a tremendous little visit to Daniels Brook; get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River. This lake is so wonderful. Powder Ridge is a very popular ski area in close proximity; glide down the rapids of Roaring Brook River in a kayak.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in close proximity to Foote Hill Pond has to offer. You don’t have to go far from Foote Hill Pond to catch a sight of the water at Foote Hills Farm Dam. Lakes? Sure, Warner Pond is in the neighborhood.
