Fisher Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Twin Lakes, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Bash Bish Brook. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Mt. Washington State Forest is a fine site to explore on a beautiful day, and swing by Ball Brook it's a magnificent
place to explore. The view of Bunker Hill from Fisher Pond is gorgeous, and why not camp at Taconic State Park Copake Falls since you're here at Fisher Pond. Since you're here at Fisher Pond why not take a look at Sages Ravine;
lots of folks from Torrington come here. There are great locations to explore along the Indian Trail, and golf can be played at Canaan Country Club. Catamount is a great local ski area; a short visit to Bear Rock Falls is always
worthwhile. For the duration of the warm months at Fisher Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Fisher
Pond throughout the wintertime usually dip into the 10's. Camping is available at Taconic State Park Rudd Pond, and going for a hike on the Elbow Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Butternut is close to Fisher Pond.
