Places like Mt. Washington State Forest are nice to visit; if you need a location to stay Sharon Motor Lodge is a pleasant choice. A great place near Fisher Pond is Sages Ravine, and the Elbow Trail offers hiking at its best. For the duration of the summertime at Fisher Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.       High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Fisher Pond. Very scenic scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Catamount, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Housatonic River. Fisher Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Northrop Trail                  is delightful fun, and a perfect nearby hotel is Days Inn Great Barrington. Fisher Pond is right by the Indian Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Taconic State Park Copake Falls is a great spot to camp. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do right next door to Fisher Pond. A short journey to Bear Rock Falls is always worthwhile, and camping is available at Taconic State Park Rudd Pond. Here at Fisher Pond you'll possibly meet some folks from Torrington, and Plantain Pond is a delightful lake close by. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Canaan Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. At Fisher Pond you can see Bunker Hill, and there are other sites here than Fisher Pond, for example Twin Lakes. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great planet it would be.
