get some rest; some of the water nearby flows, like Cross Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Do check out New Milford Reservoir Number 1 right next door to Ferris Pond, it's a striking lake, and you have to stop at Birch Point
when you're here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area in the vicinity of Ferris Pond has to offer. If you need a site to stay Heritage Inn is a magnificent choice, and at Ferris Pond you can distinguish
Aspetuck Hill. Ferris Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Buck's Rock Camp is a nice local campground; the snow is good at Thunder Ridge. While you're here at Ferris Pond, you could also stop by delightful Ella Fohs
Camp Pond; a day at pretty Pine Ledge in close proximity to Ferris Pond is a splendid thing to do. Camping at Kettletown State Park is always a tremendous experience, and a day on the slopes of Woodbury is just what you need.
All through the summertime at Ferris Pond highs are typically in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Ferris
Pond. Here at Ferris Pond there are plenty of people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown, and get wet paddling on East Aspetuck River.
