This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Hammonasset River, and nice water scenery is available at Mill Pond Dam right next door to Falls River Pond. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Falls River Pond has it all. Everybody loves Great Meadow, and there's whitewater       on Salmon River for all you thrill seekers. And that's not all you can do here at Falls River Pond. The summit of Book Hill can be observed from Falls River Pond, and Falls River Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Devil's Hopyard State Park is a great local campground. If you need a location to stay Executive Inn and Suites Old Saybrook is a nice choice; hey, Eightmile River is a good local stream. Summertime at Falls River Pond comes with high                  temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, generally in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; night lows at Falls River Pond through the wintertime frequently fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Old Saybrook, and don't forget to go to Foxboro Point since you're here. Playing golf is lots of fun at Hillside Links Golf Course, and a day at Chapman Strand is time well spent. There's so much to do here at Falls River Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Wolf's Den Family Campground is a perfect spot for that; of course, everybody loves Selden Neck State Park. Sunset Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by; while here here do have a look at close by Indiantown Beach. If you get bored of Falls River Pond, you could also visit nearby Lyons Meadow Pond.
