Joshua Rock is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Falls River Pond; while you're here, you might as well stop by Brockway Bar. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Hammonasset River, and nice water scenery is available at Mill Pond Dam right next door to Falls River Pond. | | on Salmon River for all you thrill seekers. And that's not all you can do here at Falls River Pond. The summit of Book Hill can be observed from Falls River Pond, and Falls River Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Devil's Hopyard State Park is a great local campground. temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, generally in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's; night lows at Falls River Pond through the wintertime frequently
fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Old Saybrook, and don't forget to go to Foxboro Point since you're here. Playing golf is lots of fun at Hillside Links Golf Course, and a day
at Chapman Strand is time well spent. There's so much to do here at Falls River Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Wolf's Den Family Campground is a perfect spot for that; of course, everybody loves Selden Neck State Park.
Sunset Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by; while here here do have a look at close by Indiantown Beach. If you get bored of Falls River Pond, you could also visit nearby Lyons Meadow Pond. The high level of rain makes
Falls River Pond a rather wet site; May is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

Odetah Campground
 | 19 miles away I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow.... |
