     Black Rock State Park is a stunning site any time of year, and not far from Fall Mountain Lake you'll stumble on Hidden Lake which is a striking lake. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Cedar Swamp is right close by, and a round of golf at nearby Pequabuck Golf Club of Bristol is a brilliant way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Buttermilk Falls is always fun to check out. Fall Mountain Lake ordinarily gets lots of rainfall; the month with most  
   of the rain is August, and February on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Naugatuck Trail; why not head up to Ski Sundown and strap some skis to your feet. High temperatures at Fall Mountain Lake during the summertime are in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Fall Mountain Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               There are other sites here than Fall Mountain Lake, for example Indian Heaven Pond, and if you need a place to stay Clarion Hotel Bristol is a great choice.
Lots of folks from New Haven-Milford come to Fall Mountain Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Southington. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fall Mountain Lake; Mattatuck Trail is a magnificent local trail, and camping at Gentile's Camp Ground is always a perfect experience. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Tunxis Trail, and a perfect place to camp here at Fall Mountain Lake is Black Rock State Park.
Becar Hill is a peak you can see from Fall Mountain Lake; whitewater paddling is perfect on Farmington River - Riverton. Getting to Break Hill Brook from Fall Mountain Lake is simple, and an attention-grabbing thing to check out in the neighborhood of Fall Mountain Lake is Fall Mountain Lake Dam. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Fall Mountain Lake. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville, and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn and Suites/Wolcott is a great place to spend a night or two.
