Yep, outdoors amusing things to do are truly abundant here at Fairview Reservoir. Bobbin Mill Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Fairview Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter       at Fairview Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Narragansett Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Natchaug River. So much enjoyable stuff next to Fairview Reservoir, clearly remarkable. Go for a hike on the Narragansett Trail; there's whitewater on Quinebaug River for all you thrill seekers. Courtyard Norwich is a nice site to get some rest,                  and Fairview Reservoir is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Deer Haven Campground LLC is a nice site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The good people of Norwich-New London like to hang out nearby, and you're most likely into lakes, Spaulding Pond is one of those nearby. Stay the night at Hidden Acres Family Campground; Jail Hill can be seen from Fairview Reservoir. Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a very wonderful location to go to near Fairview Reservoir, and Fairview Reservoir is near Stoddard Hill State Park which is a delightful place.
