Beautiful Factory Pond has much to offer visitors. The high level of rainfall makes Factory Pond a relatively wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Going to Putnam Memorial Park right next door to Factory Pond is a great thing to do, and if you need a place to stay Days Inn is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk here, and let's not forget Branchville Brook which is a stream that you may bump into during your stay. Whitewater paddling is good on East Aspetuck River; Cedar Mountain is delightful and can be spotted from here.

CT Days Inn. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The scenery at Factory Pond Dam near Factory Pond is picturesque, and Factory Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Kettletown State Park
is a glorious local campground. There are other places here than Factory Pond, for example Candees Pond; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Norwalk River.
All through
the long summer days here at Factory Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 30's while Factory Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
