Factory Pond is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. There are other spots here than Factory Pond, for example Perrys Pond; camping at Mountain Workshop is always a glorious experience. Ridgefield Golf Course is       a great golf course nearby; since you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit East Aspetuck River, and the peak of Cedar Mountain can be seen from Factory Pond. Not far from Factory Pond, you'll come across Pecks Pond which is a beautiful lake, and get covered with water paddling on Norwalk River. If you need a place to stay Hilton Garden Inn Norwalk is a nice                  choice, and Putnam Memorial Park is a delightful place to stretch your legs a bit. Dry warm beds await you at Ridgefield CT Days Inn, and Factory Pond Dam is a beautiful place. For the period of the summer at Factory Pond highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Factory Pond during the winter generally fall into the 10's. There's some flowing water close by, Branchville Brook is a stream you can visit during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski!
