And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. A quick tour to Hitchcock Lake Brook close to Evers Pond is a magnificent idea, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Tunxis Trail. From Evers Pond you obtain a good sight of Lindsley Hill,       and after a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn and Suites/Wolcott is a great location to spend a night or two. If you're here at Evers Pond and you like golf, you can check out Pine Valley Golf Course, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville. Clintons Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Evers Pond is excellent!                  Hit the slopes at Ski Sundown in the vicinity, and if you're dropping by from New Haven-Milford, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail close to Evers Pond called the Naugatuck Trail. There's so much to do here at Evers Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Gentile's Camp Ground is a glorious location for that. Do check out Southington Reservoir Number 2 right next door to Evers Pond, it's a striking lake, and visiting Sleeping Giant State Park is a magnificent thing to do. The warmest time of the year at Evers Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Evers Pond are in the 10's. Whitewater paddling is good on Farmington River - Riverton, and Woodtick Reservoir Dike is beautiful. Evers Pond is a relatively wet place usually with a great deal of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.
