Do stop by Evans Pond while you're in this part of Connecticut. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Evans Pond you can play some golf at River Ridge Golf Course, and Evans Pond is right by the Narragansett Trail. Natchaug River has a good whitewater paddling
spot nearby; you're almost certainly interested in lakes, Hell Hollow Pond is one of those nearby. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun.
Summertime at Evans Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and
during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Evans Pond. There's so much to do here at Evans Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Campers World Campground is a perfect place for that, and Hopeville Pond State Park is worth going to.
