Echo Lake is a nice lake to visit. At Echo Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Echo Lake. A day on the slopes of Mount Southington is just what you need, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Balmoral Farm Pond. This lake is so wonderful.

What a site this is for outdoors people. Black Rock State Park is both great and delightful, and it's near Echo Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Bantam River, and a great close by hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Waterbury. Stay the night at Branchbrook Campground, and people from Torrington love to come here.

day to look at everything Echo Lake has to offer, you can camp at Black Rock State Park, and Holiday Inn Express Waterbury Ct is a wonderful site to get some rest. Visit Echo Lake Brook since you're here at Echo Lake, and from Echo
Lake you obtain a splendid panorama of Nichols Hill.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Shepaug River, and as expected, this is a good region for people who like lakes, Atwood Pond is a lake in close proximity. Echo Lake is a rather
wet place commonly with lots of rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month.
