    In Connecticut there are many beautiful lakes, Eatons Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Natchaug River, and you without doubt ought to go to Mansfield Hollow State Park if you're here. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Take a side visit to Conantville Brook; Eatons Pond is a good site to visit for more than one day, Nickerson Park Camp Grounds is a good site to camp nearby.
This lake is so wonderful.
 
   Paddling on Salmon River is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Regent Inn. While you're here at Eatons Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Norwich-New London, and if you need a spot to stay Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a tremendous choice. Bush Hill is pretty and can be observed from Eatons Pond, and Waters Edge Family Campground is a delightful campground nearby.
Willimantic Reservoir Dam is lovely and it's
 
               in the neighborhood of Eatons Pond, and don't leave Eatons Pond without first checking out Crotch of the River. Eatons Pond gets lots of water; most of the rain falls during November, and February is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Eatons Pond all through the warm months are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Eatons Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
