Summertime highs at Eagleville Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. is Wilderness Lake; the scenery at Eagleville Lake Dam is charming. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a good choice. An afternoon playing golf at Skungamaug River
Golf Club is always a diversion, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River.
