     Lakes? Sure, Bartlett Pond is in close proximity; the Mattabesset Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Dudley Pond during the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Dudley Pond. Having a fine time at Dudley Pond is simple. Take a little journey to Bunker Hill Brook since you're here at Dudley Pond, and do take a hike on the West Woods Trail.  
   This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Guilford is a splendid choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Roaring Brook River offers some great whitewater.
Dry warm beds await you at Tower Inn and Suites, and a swamp like Cedar Swamp in close proximity to Dudley Pond has lots of out of the ordinary things to see. You're sure to run into some nice folks from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here; get yourself into
 
               a kayak and hit Hammonasset River. There are other places here than Dudley Pond, for example Nathan Pond, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to spot at Laurelwood Pond Dam in the neighborhood of Dudley Pond.
If you came for an overnight stay Little City Campground is a perfect place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Dudley Pond is right by the Washington Trail, and at Dudley Pond you can see Cranberry Hill. All the outdoors fun things next to Dudley Pond will keep you coming back again and again. Enjoy a round of golf at Guilford Lakes Golf Course not far from Dudley Pond, and why not camp at Hammonasset Beach State Park since you're here at Dudley Pond.
Dudley Pond gets a lot of water; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Powder Ridge, and Chatfield Hollow State Park is both fine and gorgeous.
