Duck Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Summertime highs at Duck Pond mostly tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Duck Pond are in the 10's. Bantam Swamp is an attention-grabbing swamp close to Duck Pond; don't leave Duck Pond without first going for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail. Duck Pond frequently gets a lot of

| | rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. Woodbury is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and there's great hiking along the Naugatuck Trail. Having a great time at Duck Pond is easy. If you come at the right time of year, Bantam River offers some good whitewater, and you are close to Keeler Cove since you're here. Campgrounds is a great campground nearby. After a long day outdoors Days Inn - Torrington is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Bantam Project Dam. Beaches are
tremendous; and Litchfield Town Beach in the neighborhood of Duck Pond is no exception. Lakes? Sure, Little Pond is close at hand. So many entertaining things near Duck Pond, completely fantastic. Mt. Tom State Park is a great spot
to stretch your legs a bit, and you're sure to bump into some great people from Torrington here. This lake is so wonderful. At Duck Pond you can make out Apple Hill, and a day at Morris Town Beach is time well spent. This lake
is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Shepaug River, and an afternoon playing golf at Stonybrook Golf Course is always a diversion. Duck Pond is a great site to visit for more than one day, Cozy Hills Campground
is a great site to camp nearby. Hit the slopes at Mohawk Mountain in the vicinity; Tollgate Hill Inn is a great place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Duck Pond, for example Cranberry Pond; you can go for a hike on the Mattatuck Trail.
