     You'll need more than a day to look at everything Drobney Pond has to offer, you can camp at Wilderness Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Willington. All the water falling down from the sky makes Drobney Pond a wet place; during May this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Bissonnette Pond Dam, and there's some flowing water close  
   by, Curtis Brook is a stream you can stop at while you're here. On a gorgeous day you acquire a sight of Holt Mountain from Drobney Pond; a great location for whitewater paddling is Natchaug River.
If you need a location to stay Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a wonderful choice, and a lake nearby is Gaines Pond. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Drobney Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime
 
               are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Drobney Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Stay the night at Moosemeadow Camping Resort, and Quaboag River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're stopping by Drobney Pond from Willimantic, you won't be the only one. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do next to Drobney Pond. You could also have a look at Taylor Pond if you're here at Drobney Pond; it's close by, and a visit to Mansfield Hollow State Park is a nice idea.
