Why not take a look at Maupas Pond Dam if you're here, and Maupas Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Dream Lake. There's whitewater on Hammonasset River for all you adrenaline people, and if you need a spot to stay Tower Inn and Suites is a glorious choice. The high level of       precipitation makes Dream Lake a pretty wet place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. During your visit to Dream Lake you'll meet some folks from New Haven-Milford for sure; why not head up to Powder Ridge and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Foster Hole is close by and always fine to have a look at, and Guilford Lakes Golf Course is a golf course nearby. All through the                  warm days of summer at Dream Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Dream Lake. This lake is so wonderful. From Dream Lake you get a glorious view of Cranberry Hill, and the West Woods Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. While you're here at Dream Lake, you could also stop by scenic Shelley Lakes, and Comfort Inn Guilford is a great place to get some rest. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Dream Lake. You can run the rapids of Roaring Brook River close to Dream Lake; if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Circle Beach. This lake is so wonderful. A good location like Chatfield Hollow State Park near Dream Lake is too good to leave out, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Jacobs Public Beach. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Podunk Great Plain is a gorgeous site any time of year; Cedar Swamp is a swamp in the vicinity of Dream Lake. There is a great hiking trail close to Dream Lake called the Washington Trail, and Riverdale Camp Sites is a great campground nearby.
