Douglas Pond Dam is pretty and it's in close proximity to Douglas Pond, and don't leave without visiting Hopeville Pond State Park. Douglas Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Countryside Campground is a magnificent local campground, and it's a nice idea to check out Great Meadow Brook. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Douglas Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Natures Campsites is a pleasant location for that;

| | Yawgoo Valley has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. Be careful coming to Douglas Pond, you might not ever want to go home again. A journey to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is worthwhile; swamps are out of the ordinary places and Cedar Swamp near Douglas Pond is no exception. Ct is a splendid choice. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Border Trail; Douglas Pond is a place with many visitors from Willimantic. Nearby Hell Hollow is a pleasant place to go if you're at Douglas Pond, and Douglas Pond
is right by the Narragansett Trail. Through the warm months here at Douglas Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Douglas
Pond overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Douglas Pond. Mason-Gray Pond is a brilliant lake near Douglas Pond, and do take a hike on the Narragansett
Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Bare Hill is pretty and can be spotted from Douglas Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinebaug River. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PLAINFIELD is a pleasant
spot to spend a night or two. Douglas Pond is a rather wet place usually with lots of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
