The beauty of Dog Pond attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. ordinary sites and Balsam Fir Swamp next to Dog Pond is no exception, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Shepaug River. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on
down to Dog Pond. A round of golf at nearby Stonybrook Golf Course is a pleasant way to kill some time, and do take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Be careful coming to Dog Pond, you might not ever wanna return
home again. You're possibly interested in lakes, Tyler Lake is one of those nearby, and skiing at Woodbury is one of those things you just ought to do. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little trip to Woodridge Lake Dam since
you're here at Dog Pond, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mohawk Mountain since you're here. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mattatuck Trail; Hemlock Hill Camp Resort and Co-operative is a glorious
local campground. A day at beautiful Litchfield Town Beach close to Dog Pond is a perfect thing to do, and on a gorgeous day you acquire a perfect view of Brush Hill from Dog Pond.
