good whitewater, and lots of people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford come here. High temperatures at Dobsonville Pond through the summer are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter
the highs are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Dobsonville Pond. Lakes are such serene sites, why not check out Aldon Mill Pond near Dobsonville Pond, and golf can be played at Minnechaug Golf
Course. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Express Inn - Vernon is a splendid spot to spend a night or two.

 | 18 miles away Im here everyday besides wensday. on wensday they give uss off. don and ann are very nice people with a very nice store and very nice overpriced things inside there very nice store. soon they will mater building the roads and hopefuly next spring will be a very nice one. they have very clean and large sites and never are all the sites full so dont let them tell you there booked. if your looking for a nice peaceful time come durring the normal weekends but if your looking for lots of action well come on the major weekends. if your have any teens bring them because there are lots of very nice children in a drug-free enviroment. we have been her since the begining of time and for some reason where still here! the speed limits 5mph but I drive at around 12mph shhh.... |
