    In Connecticut there are many beautiful lakes, Dickinson Pond is one of them. While you're here at Dickinson Pond you will meet lots of folks from nearby Willimantic, and float down the rapids of Natchaug River in a kayak. Why not pop by Kenyon Pond Dam while you're here, and there's some flowing water close by, Crystal Pond Brook is a stream you can stop at while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Nothing beats kicking back at Woodstock Town Beach; since  
   you're here, you could also take a look at beautiful Breakneck Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Sturbridge Days Inn, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Quinebaug River. Travelodge Sturbridge is a nice place to get some rest; when you're here it's always fun to check out Bigelow Hollow State Park. Why not camp at Black Pond Campground while you're here at Dickinson Pond, and don't miss out on a visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket

Dickinson Pond in fact is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Chamberlain Lake Campground is a splendid local campground, and the summit of Dean Hill can be spotted from Dickinson Pond. The warmest time of the year at Dickinson Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Dickinson Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights.
Dickinson Pond gets lots of water; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
