     You'll meet a lot of people from Willimantic here, and Bigelow Hollow State Park is a glorious place. This lake is so wonderful. Woodstock Town Beach is a beach in the vicinity of Dickinson Pond that you can have a look at, and don't forget to take a splendid little spree to Crystal Pond Brook. Kenyon Pond Dam is a site that is in the vicinity of Dickinson Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Chamberlain Lake Campground is a great spot to camp; there's whitewater  
   on Natchaug River for all you thrill seekers.
If time allows, Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth going to, and a lake nearby is Crystal Pond. Much rain falls at Dickinson Pond; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most while February is usually the driest month. A perfect nearby hotel is Travelodge Sturbridge; if you get bored of Dickinson Pond you could also
 
               stop by nearby Kenyon Pond.
Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Dickinson Pond. Days Inn Sturbridge is a fine location to get some rest; get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Quinebaug River. This lake is so wonderful. A good vista of beautiful Dean Hill is available from Dickinson Pond, and camping is available at Black Pond Campground. The warmest time of the year at Dickinson Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dickinson Pond are in the 10's.
