Go to Dickinson Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. If you want to hit the beach, Woodstock Town Beach is close by; you can run the rapids of Natchaug River. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Crystal Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inn. High temperatures at Dickinson Pond through the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's with

Dickinson Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Black Pond Campground is a great local campground, and Sturbridge Days Inn is a brilliant site to get some rest. Here at Dickinson Pond you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Willimantic, and Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is a great place nearby. by. Take a side journey to Crystal Pond Brook, and spots like Bigelow Hollow State Park are perfect to stop by.
