It's always fun to stop by Dayville Pond. You'll locate a pretty lake called Alexander Lake near Dayville Pond, and you can run the rapids of Natchaug River. There's whitewater on Quinebaug River for all you adrenaline junkies, and Budget Inn - Dayville is a nice place to get some rest. The high level of rainfall makes Dayville Pond a relatively wet place; most of the rain falls through November, and the driest of the months is February.

Dayville Pond is in the neighborhood of Mashamoquet Brook State Park which is a beautiful site, and there are plenty of people from Willimantic here. So many fun things to do at Dayville Pond, so little time. Hide-a-way Cove Campground is a tremendous campground here; some of the water nearby flows, like Attawaugan Brook.

and since you're here you can take a hike along the Walkabout Trail. If the weather is perfect here at Dayville Pond, you can go for a hike along the Munyan Trail, and a journey to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage
Corridor is recommended. During the summertime, highs frequently are in the 80's at Dayville Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime
at Dayville Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's.
A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Killingly (Dayville), Ct; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Border Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Golf
can be played at Brooklyn Golf Course; not far from Dayville Pond you obtain some great water scenery at Prym Manufacturing Company Dam.
