May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Old Saybrook is a brilliant location to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Day Pond that you need to camp
here for a while, Markham Meadows Campgrounds is a glorious location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Roaring Brook River is so much fun.
